ACCA考试科目P1 CEO + Chairman, Exec or non-exec?

Hi,
Sorry if this has already been answered butcouldn’t find it.
Are the CEO and Chairman both executivedirectors? It seems that all the questions I read state who the CEO/Chair isand then states how many NEDS there are.
If they are both executive directors andthere are say, 4 other executive directors then should the amount of NEDS be 6?Or is it excluding the CEO/Chair.

If the question says, “the CEO is also the chairman of the board,” then this person is not a NED, he is an executive director.

Thus, if the question also says, ‘there are 4 NEDS,” this is the total, it doesn’t consider the guy above–he is a full-time director, running the company (not a NED).
